Last year when I was in Australia (July 2010) I used to go to gym with my sister in law in the evenings, and watch MasterChef Australia while I was on the treadmill. This proved to be a blessing because I only ended up gaining 2 kilos during my vacation instead of 5 (woohoo).
I’d always wanted to try out Zumba and they had 2 classes every week. I tried my best to go to as many as I could but either I’d be out “being a tourist” somewhere else at the time of the class or I’d be too tired to go to the gym that day because I’d spent it in Centro walking around and shopping all day, so I ended up going to only 2 or 3 classes.
I’m not very good at aerobics and do better on machine and since I’m not that fit I get exhausted too quickly and end up doing all the moves without the “bounce” so I avoid it. But Zumba
was is different, it was fun and I managed to keep up with most of the moves.
This video brings back so many memories…It was one of the dances we did in Zumba…I’m even surprised I still remember all of the moves!
I really wish the gym I go to here in Jordan had Zumba at least once a week, I would totally make time for it. Le sigh.
