In the end I sort of though we created a companion who was so alive and dynamic and so wedded to the doctor that you’d need a whole universe to contain her in. The only way to get rid of her is to send her into a parallel world from which she can never return; otherwise she would stay with the doctor forever. – Russell T Davis

Just finished watching it. I feel so emotionally beat up right now. One of the BEST scenes in history! Up there with Ghost, and Gone with the Wind, and West Side Story…Oh my.

He never says “I love you,” and it is still the best love story I’ve ever seen on film.

So true! If there were any possibility that Rose and the Doctor could be together, nothing could keep them apart.

Yes! Nothing would be able to tear them apart except that damned wall…ugh, am I the only one who screamed “Just knock that bloody wall down!” at the screen?

Most heartbreaking thing ever. I still cry when I see the clips or rewatch.
